I usually only ever pick classic romances like this when I'm really drawn to them. Hence the great rating. I knew it was going to be great before I read it -- blurb and cover attracted me, and after reading an excerpt that drew me in, I just had to read the rest. I knew I'd love it. I wasn't wrong. I love a story that touches the heart, and this did just that. Beautifully written, wonderful characters that I just fell in love with, and overall probably one of the best cont romances I've read since my Jane Porter fest last year. There's such a rarity in authors who have the ability to write a romance and make it seem 'real'. Linda Poitevin's future works will be slammed straight into my to-read list, without a doubt. Even better, I hear she's working on some paranormals -- my favorite romance sub-cat.Product details
